What is your writer commitment?

We believe our writers are the all-stars of the industry, and we have never understood why publishers think otherwise. Every issue we seek to include community members that are both well known and others that are just getting started in the industry. This is because we feel there is a lot of unknown talent out there. That said, we still demand high quality information and style. As such, as Albert's father says, "We are not a cemetery, we do not take everyone.". Simply, we seek a high standard. All in all, the ultimate purpose is to be a voice for the Real Food community. Feel you have that voice? Submit an article to us.

Can I just submit a pitch?

Sure. We evaluate pitches as much as we do articles, and will contact you if we are interested in your final article.

How much do you pay?

We want to say X dollars, but we are still in the process of figuring that out. For our first issue, almost all of our writers volunteered their time or provided an article in trade for the advertising benefits. If you are interested in considering such an arrangement for a few issues, that we can guarantee. Beyond that, we are looking for 500-1000 word articles, negotiating payment on a person by person basis. It all depends on the community and how RFH magazine grows! So spread the word.

Who's in charge of all this?

Who is Traditions Media and Publishing LLC?

An LLC Albert and Heather formed for the magazine. We set it up separate as we simply liked the name, and felt we could use it for a variety of publications.

What happend to Yahoo! and OpenID?

Simply the standards started to change, and we found the two companies branched off in different directions. It made impossible to simply handle both. If you used a Yahoo! account orginally, we recommend signing up for a google account using your yahoo account. They will automatically link together if the same email is used. If you choose to use a different email, contact Heather, and we can migrate your issues on over.
