Everything is better with probiotics right? A tablespoon of pickle juice (or anything probiotic) gives this tasty dip a real nourishing boost and helps to minimize the layer of oxidation that you always get on the top of guacamole. This makes enough to serve a good sized group as an appetizer with some chips or veggies.

Ingredients

  • 3 avocados
  • 1 Tbsp pickle juice, whey, or other probiotic liquid
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 lime, juiced
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne
  • 1 Tbsp cilantro, chopped
  • 1 small tomato, diced

Directions

  1. Scoop out avocado centers and mash with pickle juice, garlic, lime juice, sea salt, and cayenne.
  2. Fold in cilantro and tomatoes.
  3. Let flavors meld at room temperature for 1 hour.
  4. Enjoy.
